Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RelistNow ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered resale listing tool operated at relistnow.ai. We help individual sellers create listings for secondhand goods across multiple resale platforms.

2. Information we collect

Account information

• Email address and name when you create an account
• Authentication data (password hash stored securely via Supabase)
• Subscription plan and billing status (managed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

Photos and item data

• Photos you upload for analysis — used solely to identify and describe your items
• Item details you enter (brand, size, condition, notes)
• Inventory data you save (item name, price, cost, platform, status)
• P&L entries and tax estimates you create

Usage data

• Number of AI analyses performed (for usage limit enforcement)
• Analysis results — item identified, price suggested, confidence score
• Platform preferences and connected accounts

Third-party platform data

• eBay: if you connect your eBay account, we store an OAuth access token to post listings on your behalf. We access only the minimum scopes required (sell.inventory, sell.account, commerce.identity.readonly)
• Stripe: payment processing only. We receive confirmation of payment and your subscription status. Card details never touch our servers

3. How we use your information

• To provide the service — analyzing photos, generating listings, storing your inventory, calculating P&L
• To improve AI accuracy — anonymized analysis data (no photos, no personal details) may be used to improve our pricing models. You can opt out in account settings
• To communicate with you — account confirmations, usage alerts, product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
• To process payments — subscription management via Stripe
• To prevent abuse — rate limiting and fraud detection on our API

4. Photos and AI processing

Photos you upload are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis. Anthropic's data retention policies apply to these transmissions — see anthropic.com/privacy. We do not permanently store your photos on our servers unless you explicitly save an item to inventory with a photo attached.

eBay pricing data is retrieved from eBay's public Finding API. We do not store raw eBay listing data beyond the current session.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic — photo and context data for AI analysis
• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• eBay — when you connect your account and post listings

All third-party processors are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

6. eBay marketplace account deletion

In compliance with eBay's developer requirements, if an eBay user requests deletion of their marketplace account, we will delete all associated eBay OAuth tokens and any inventory data linked to that eBay account within 30 days of receiving notification from eBay. To request deletion of your data contact privacy@relistnow.ai.

7. Data retention

• Active account data is retained while your account is open
• If you cancel your account, we retain your data for 90 days so you can export it via CSV
• After 90 days, all personal data is permanently deleted
• Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely

8. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format (CSV export available in-app)
• Opt out of AI training data use

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and API authentication. We do not store payment card information. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability please contact security@relistnow.ai.

10. Children

RelistNow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
